A replacement model needs a change note, not just a new box
A discontinued or unavailable item can often be replaced, but a similar feature list is not enough. Review what changes in fitting, control, accessories and handover before treating the new product as an equivalent line item.

Compare the project’s actual use
The original design may rely on a physical button, a particular integration or a mounting dimension that the new model handles differently. Start with those dependencies rather than comparing headline features or newer release dates.
Revisit the sample where necessary
If the substitute changes a critical scene, run that scene on the proposed combination. Keep the accepted result with the order. A customer who approved one demonstration should be told when the delivered experience will differ.
Ask for controlled substitutions
Tell HomeTech which items may be considered for alternatives and which require exact supply. This allows a sourcing conversation without silently changing the configuration that your installer, showroom or end customer has already accepted.
Before you buy
- List critical dependencies
