A sunny living room needs glare control before more screens
If the screen looks good at night but washes out in the afternoon, review window shading before replacing the television. The right shade control can be a more relevant addition than another entertainment component.

Observe the troublesome hour
Photograph the window and seated viewing angle when glare is strongest. A daytime showroom demonstration does not reproduce your window orientation, neighboring reflections or the height of the sun across the seasons.
Match the moving hardware
Curtain robots, blind-tilt devices and roller-blind motors move different hardware. Identify which covering already controls the glare well by hand; automate that motion only after its fit and access requirements are understood.
Keep a quick override
Ask for a viewing scene with a reachable shade control and a separate lamp setting. The shade should remain useful when you only want privacy, not television; avoid tying every movement to a single entertainment command.
Before you buy
- Photograph peak glare
- Identify curtain or blind type
- Plan charging access
