Smart Bulbs or a Smart Wall Switch: Where Should You Start?
Choose a smart bulb when changing the lamp itself is the simple improvement. Choose a suitable wall control when several existing lights should continue to feel like one familiar circuit.

Look at how the room is used
A table lamp and a ceiling group have different needs. Count the lights that should respond together and notice whether guests naturally reach for the existing wall switch on entry.
Avoid conflicting controls
A smart bulb generally needs suitable continuous power for its connected features. A wall dimmer must match its lighting load; do not assume combining two smart products creates a better circuit.
Buy a complete everyday routine
For bulbs, include an understandable physical control. For a switch, include electrician assessment and bulb compatibility. Ask for a room-level configuration so the purchase improves use rather than adding another app.
