LED Dimming: The Bulb Model Matters as Much as the Dimmer
A dimmer cannot make every LED behave identically. Compare the exact lamp-and-control combination, especially if a quiet, low evening level is the reason you are upgrading.

Check the existing label
Identify the bulb or driver and whether it is intended for dimming. Mixed lamp types on a single circuit deserve a separate discussion before a switch is selected or ordered.
Judge the useful range
Ask for a demonstration at the low level you will actually use, not just full brightness. Note unwanted flicker, drop-out or noise and agree on acceptable behavior with the installer.
Pilot before repeating
For several rooms using the same lamps, confirm one representative circuit first. Then repeat a known combination, keeping model numbers in the equipment list for later replacement purchases.
