Short-stay lock buying: ask how a booking becomes a credential
For several bookings, the credential process matters more than an impressive list of opening methods. Ask how access is created, timed, revoked and recovered on the exact proposed lock before assuming a host platform will automate the entire handoff.

Show the current booking process
List the booking channel, staff steps and check-in exceptions. A supported integration for one service does not establish support for another, and manual processes should remain explicit if they are the chosen starting point.
Separate staff access
Keep cleaning and maintenance access distinct from guest credentials and owner administration. Include the method for removing old permissions, not merely the ability to create a new code or invite another person.
Request a workflow demonstration
Ask for one booking-to-checkout demonstration and a practical fault procedure. Then compare the lock, any hub or service requirements and installation scope as a complete operating proposal.
Before you buy
- Name the booking platform
- Separate cleaner access
- Demonstrate revocation
