The survey can change the equipment list
A floor plan is a useful start, but it does not reveal every mounting, wiring or coverage constraint. Arrange the necessary site checks before committing a final device order to a customer’s renovation or new installation.

Find what drawings cannot show
Door hardware, switch-box space and actual network positions can affect selection. Ask the relevant trade to inspect the parts within its scope. A remote proposal should identify which decisions still depend on those observations.
Use photographs to narrow the visit
Collect clear device labels, room views and requested effects beforehand. This gives the installer a focused survey route. Photographs can reduce avoidable questions, but they do not automatically establish hidden wiring conditions or substitute for required on-site work.
Keep sourcing connected to inspection
Share the survey findings with HomeTech when asking for equipment options or proposal support. Update the list before approval, so the customer is choosing devices for the actual property rather than an idealized drawing.
