An integration quote should start with room actions

A device count does not tell an integrator what the household expects. Before pricing a connected room, list the actions the customer wants, the controls they will use and the circumstances in which each action should occur.

Bring the project into the conversation

Make each scene observable

“Comfortable evening” may mean a particular light setting and closed shades, but the two tasks need separate confirmation. Ask the customer to describe the result. Do not turn a general mood phrase into an unlimited automation commitment.

Choose equipment after the action list

Map sensing, control and execution to the agreed actions. This exposes missing interfaces and installation work before equipment is ordered. It also makes it easier to remove a feature without accidentally breaking the rest of the proposed room.

Ask for project support with a brief

Send HomeTech the action list, location and existing equipment when requesting design or sourcing assistance. A concrete brief helps a local integrator compare suitable combinations and explain the proposed purchase to the customer.
