Quote local and cloud functions as separate capabilities
A buyer may care most about what continues working without the internet. Describe the local operations and cloud-dependent services separately, using the actual selected devices and integration path instead of one broad promise of an offline smart home.

Identify the desired resilience
Ask which room actions matter during an internet interruption: ordinary lighting, a physical scene or a local status view. Keep these separate from remote access or voice-service expectations. The buyer can then prioritize the right part of the system.
Test the quoted architecture
Home Assistant documents local-control and backup concepts, but each integration and device combination needs its own verification. Distinguish disconnecting internet access from losing local power or network equipment; those are different operating conditions.
Deliver a capability list
Include the checked functions and limitations with the proposal sent to HomeTech for project support. This lets the customer choose a specific resilience requirement and gives installation teams an acceptance point they can actually demonstrate.
Before you buy
- Separate internet and local failures
- Name essential room actions
- Record tested limitations
