Battery or wired doorbell: start with the doorway, not the resolution
The right doorbell choice depends on existing power, mounting permission and how you will service it. Image specifications matter, but they do not answer whether you can supply the unit properly or reach it conveniently for charging.

Identify the existing arrangement
Photograph the current button and any known chime or transformer information. A wired proposal needs model-specific electrical review; an old doorbell wire is not enough information to assume any new device can be connected.
Check the service routine
For a rechargeable device, consider removal access and how the entrance is covered while it is charging. For either route, test the viewing angle and whether a normal visitor is visible from the allowed mounting point.
Request two complete alternatives
Ask for battery and wired options with mounting accessories, storage choices and installation scope shown separately. This makes the daily effort and system requirements clearer than comparing camera resolution or headline prices alone.
Before you buy
- Photograph existing wiring information
