Curtain Rod or Track: Select the Motor Version Before Checkout
Retrofit curtain products are shaped around the hardware they move on. Confirm the rod or rail arrangement and opening direction before choosing a motor version or deciding how many units to buy.

Photograph the running hardware
Show the rod or rail, rings or carriers and any joints along the route. A room photograph rarely reveals the details that determine whether a retrofit driver can travel smoothly from end to end.
Explain the opening pattern
State whether the curtain draws to one side or opens from the center. Include the curtain weight and normal travel, so motor quantity and accessories follow the actual arrangement rather than the window count.
Buy an installed movement
Ask for the compatible version, mounting pieces and needed hub as one quotation. Include a test of complete opening, closing and manual use before repeating the configuration in several rooms.
