A supplier sample should arrive as a working bundle

A loose sensor may demonstrate its finish but not the experience a store would sell. When proposing a smart-home range, send the smallest complete combination that can show the intended customer action with clear setup instructions.

Bring the project into the conversation

Include the dependencies

List the controller, power arrangement and accessories needed to run the sample. Explain any account or platform prerequisites without supplying shared customer credentials. The receiver should know which parts are included and which need to be provided locally.

Give the receiver a useful test

Write a short sequence that produces the intended effect and returns the demonstration to normal. Identify known limitations. This is more useful than a promotional video that cannot be reproduced with the supplied devices.

Propose the next discussion

Contact HomeTech with the use case, supplied models and intended North American market. A sample can support a sourcing review; it does not automatically create a purchase order, storefront listing or approved commercial partnership.

Before you buy

  • Include required controllers
  • Provide reset instructions
  • State the sample’s limitations
