Shop closing scenes need an exclusion list

A closing-lighting button can be useful when it controls a reviewed set of lights. Keep it separate from refrigerators, security equipment, network devices and other loads the business needs after closing, rather than treating the whole premises as one switchable group.

List the actual circuits

Ask the installer to identify which circuits feed only the lights you intend to switch. A wall control’s position or label is not proof of every downstream load, especially in a premises with several rounds of earlier renovation.

Keep a manual recovery

A staff member should know how to restore the agreed lighting if closing is canceled or someone returns. Avoid hidden chains that also alter access or equipment settings unless each action has been deliberately reviewed and authorized.

Request a lighting-only scope

Send opening hours and a marked light schedule to HomeTech. Ask for the control list, exclusions and handover note; any commercial wiring changes remain part of the appropriate local professional installation review.
