Device planning list
Count dry indoor comfort zones requiring separate readings. Use one accessible sensor per independently exposed water-risk point. Size controllers by supported capacity and tested coverage. Record every device, owner, location and agreed maintenance role.
Before You Buy
Indoor temperature/humidity is not air-quality or health monitoring. Confirm HVAC voltage, wiring, stages and existing zones before thermostat selection; a room sensor does not create another zone. A leak alert is not automatic shutoff or authorization to enter. Verify placement, hub coverage, battery access and response ownership; remote notifications need working connectivity.
