A lighting display should use the lamp you intend to sell
A dimmer demonstration is only useful when it resembles the customer’s eventual installation. A beautiful display running one easy test bulb cannot establish how a different fixture, driver or mixed circuit will behave.

Compare the whole lighting chain
Keep the lamp or driver model beside the control model. When a customer asks for a similar effect, collect their fixture information before recommending the same switch. Lutron provides an LED compatibility resource for relevant products.
Demonstrate the bottom end
Show a comfortable low setting, gradual adjustment and a normal off/on cycle. Ask the buyer whether the light is for reading, dining or background use. These tasks can lead to different fixture and control choices.
Sell a verified combination
Offer a lighting selection review with exact fixture details instead of promising that any dimmable lamp will work. Bring the intended product list to HomeTech when planning a showroom or a project quotation.
