Book commissioning when the site is ready for it

A date on the calendar does not make a site ready for commissioning. Confirm power, network, installed devices and authorized access before booking the people who will configure and demonstrate the agreed system.

Bring the project into the conversation

Make readiness observable

Ask which rooms have completed installation and which shared services are operational. List missing components against the scene plan. A controller cannot commission an absent actuator, and a last-minute network change can invalidate assumptions made during design.

Coordinate the handoffs

Agree who resolves wiring, device mounting and account questions during the visit. Keep commissioning work distinct from unfinished construction. This gives the customer a realistic explanation of what can be completed at each stage.

Request support for a ready scope

When contacting HomeTech about technical assistance, provide the readiness list and intended acceptance actions. A focused support session is easier to plan than an open-ended request to make an unfinished property “fully smart” on a fixed date.

Before you buy
