Buying for resale or delivering installations: choose the right role
A dealer and an installation partner can work on the same project without doing the same job. Decide whether your immediate contribution is supplying suitable equipment or installing and supporting the local system before discussing a cooperation route.

For a supply-led business
Bring the product categories, intended customers and sourcing needs. Explain how you handle model selection and customer questions. Selling a box does not automatically include the site assessment or configuration needed to make it part of a working installation.
For a delivery-led business
Describe your installation team, service area and technical capabilities. Identify which products and documentation you need from a sourcing partner. Manufacturer training or program status should be described accurately rather than assumed from the equipment brands you have installed.
Choose the HomeTech discussion
Use the dealer route for channel purchasing or the integration route for local delivery cooperation. If you do both, say where the responsibilities divide so the first project can be planned around an explicit working relationship.
Before you buy
- Name your primary role
- List required supply or support
- Define the installation boundary
