Tenant turnover is a smart-system handover project
When a commercial tenant changes, retained devices need more than a new scene name. Review authorized ownership, old access and the next tenant’s actual requirements before quoting resets, replacements or additional smart controls.

Inventory what remains
List controllers, locks and room controls that stay with the property, distinguishing them from equipment removed by the previous tenant. Match this inventory to the agreed handover scope instead of assuming that every installed item is available for reuse.
Reset roles before new scenes
Use authorized procedures to remove outdated access and establish the new administrator. Keep private records separate from the configuration required for reuse. A convenient retained controller should not carry former-tenant permissions into the next business.
Quote the actual reset scope
Send HomeTech a retained-equipment list and the incoming tenant’s requested functions. A project discussion can then separate service work from sourcing needs and give the property team a clear acceptance list for the changeover.
