A Larger Smart Speaker Is Not Automatically Better for Your Shelf
Choose a speaker for the space around it as well as the features on its page. A larger model earns its place when your listening use and available placement support the difference.

Show the available space
Measure the shelf and clearance, and show nearby walls or objects. An impressive specification cannot make a poorly placed speaker behave like the carefully staged layout shown in a manufacturer’s photograph.
List the playback you value
State whether you mostly use streamed music, Bluetooth or another supported source. If a particular sound format matters, confirm the service, content and device requirements rather than relying on a format logo alone.
Compare in a complete room plan
Ask for a practical choice between a compact placement, a larger unit or a supported pair. Let the proposed position and listening goal explain the upgrade rather than buying the biggest enclosure by default.
