PLANNING QUESTION

Customer assumes a residential lock works on a fire door

Opening classification and approved hardware boundary

Residential lock documentation does not approve commercial or fire-door access; use a separate assessment.

PLANNING QUESTION

A client expects automatic unlocking from any doorbell

Approved human-confirmed access workflow

Doorbell or facial-recognition events must not directly trigger unlocking.

A PROJECT-SPECIFIC BOM

Specify quantities.
Define the boundaries.

Count controlled openings and contact-sensing points from the door schedule. Camera quantities follow coverage and privacy review; do not assume one camera or hub per opening.

Door geometry, mechanical egress, local access rules and camera privacy.

Before we build your proposal

Can you include an existing system?

Share the exact controller, device models, firmware and network arrangement. The proposal will define which functions use native controls, supported bridges or a separate subsystem.

What will the quotation cover?

Equipment quantities, regional variants, accessories and the agreed design or support scope. Canada is quoted in CAD and US projects in USD unless another currency is agreed. Installation coverage and lead time are confirmed with the project.

What happens after I send a request?

A saved inquiry receives a reference number. We use your contact details to discuss requirements and agree on the next steps. Partner status and commercial terms require a separate agreement.
